Special Convo For Tun Badawi

On 17 July 2009, my University had a Special Convocation which is a conferment of Honorary Doctor of Philosophy to our respected formal Prime Minister Y.A.Bhg. Tun Abdullah Haji Ahmad Badawi. This special convocation was attended along with our Vice Cansellor and others lecturer together with our respected Sultan Kedah. This ceremony takes time around 3 hours started at morning 9 o’clock and ended at 12 noon. This ceremony looks so grand .

That day before the ceremony starts, most of us were taking a short nap with closing down the eyes. I think this is normal, since it is morning and moreover that day should be holiday for us. Everyone was given a magazine which written all the historical effort that has been made by our previous PM. Then when the ceremony starts, it of course started with opening ceremony by the Sultan Kedah. Then follow by the speech giving by both badawi and sultan. Here comes the fun part, among all the speech, the words that carved deeply into my sleepy head, " rules applied everywhere even in UUM, but the point is not follow the rules blindly, and for some occasion, can change the way we obey the rules" , i quote the words with the roughly the meaning.
